You probably already know I am a book fanatic. I often buy books faster than I can read them, and I’m constantly considering all the books I’ll never have time to read in this lifetime. My bookshelves are systematically organized, and I have a borrowing system in place. My adoration of books often leads me …
Warrior Wednesday: Unity Day
Today is Unity Day. A day where we come together to take a stand against bullying and promote kindness above all else. While Unity Day is focused on bullying, it’s a universal reminder to put kindness and compassion first, which is exactly what My Warrior Project is all about. You don’t know what’s happening in …
Just the Essentials
I talk about Essential Oils a lot on social media and in person, and it’s probably the thing I get the most questions about from my followers. I use DoTerra oils, because I value their commitment to the highest grade therapeutic oils, sourced ethically from places where these plants, flowers and fruits grow naturally. I’ve …
Warrior Wednesday: Myers Briggs Personality
I want you to think back to the last time you spent time researching something. Was it flights to visit your family? Maybe you were looking for a new hair salon. Are you thinking back to college and that huge capstone paper you wrote? I am a self-proclaimed lifelong learner, which means I lean into …

Seeking Serendipity
My theory is, the more yourself you are, the more you love yourself, the more the universe will love you, too. As a child, I was taught that God, our creator, would love me no matter what. I was taught that as a fact, but it didn’t feel like much. I didn’t know I needed …
Music to Meditate
My meditation practice, like many aspects of my life, is a work in progress. I’m not as consistent as I would like to be, but still my practice has come a long way. When I started meditating just a few years ago, I overthought how I would sit and what I would think about. I …

I want to empower you with tools for your own journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and love. I’m going to call these sections “Warrior Wednesdays,” because being a Warrior is all about knowing, trusting, and accepting yourself in every way. By knowing yourself, you can live authentically even when the world pushes you in unexpected ways. …
Asking for (and accepting) Help
I’m no superwoman, but sometimes I’m pretty impressed with how much I can get done all by myself. I’ve always been of the mindset that I can handle anything that comes at me. If I don’t know how, I’ll figure it out. Haven’t you heard of Google? I work hard, and I like to joke …
Festive Friday: 10 Ideas for a Healthy & Fun October
This time of year, as the days get shorter and our workloads seem heavier than ever, we become more susceptible to seasonal affective disorder, seasonal depression, and in turn negative self-talk. Those of us who battle depression year-round are especially likely to feel lower as the daylight hours decrease and the leaves begin to fall. I’ve felt this year after year. As the evenings become darker earlier, I find myself eager to get home and just cozy up on the couch. I skip yoga classes, and say no to plans with friends. Meals sometimes become secondary, as does my sleep schedule and my morning routine. I’m lucky to get out of the house with two matching shoes and a cup of coffee some days.
A Glance at My Truth
I have been told it seems like I have my life totally together. I’m here to clear that up. I see what you see: I’m 26, newly married, with two sweet dogs and a beautiful little home. I have a great job and space to practice my hobbies. What could be better? Here’s what you …
