It’s Christmas Eve, and we are approaching the end of the year quickly now.
Personally, 2016 has been a year of transformation. We moved to a new city, I started a new job, we made a home from a family house, and all long we fell deeper in love. Even with all of that in mind, it’s been a tough year, too.
For many of us, 2016 was a long and exhausting year. We’ve seen dead civilians and police officers shot in the streets and plastered on our media channels. We’ve seen a major European power separate from the European Union. We watched terrorists attacks in France, and waited for loved ones to “check-in” on Facebook, and finally we divided ourselves in an extreme election process. (that’s enough on that, though.)
Prompt: We’re tired, battled out, bruised and broken. How has this year been for you? What are you biggest milestones, and how has the political and cultural landscape made you feel? I don’t want to hear a politician’s name, but rather your emotions and your most authentic reflections on this year.
