Our week of Strength will be different. We’ve prepared for the holidays, they are upon us and soon they will be over. This week, journaling is really encouraged. The work we’re going to put in during this home stretch will help you outline and plan hopes and resolutions for the new year.
There’s a great strength in knowing ourselves. We could keep puttering along, concerning ourselves with the business of the day and of others. We could, but then we’d be missing the point. We would be overlooking the opportunities for connection and intention, and we would be missing out on the chance to spread love in deeper, more meaningful ways.
Prompt: Today, write about who you are. What do you like? What do you look like? How does it feel to be you? This could go anywhere, or everywhere. Write as much as you’d like, and share whatever parts feel the most meaningful. Who are you friends, why do you like them, and why do you believe they like you? Brain dump, word vomit, express yourself as fully and as authentically as you can. Don’t edit yourself, or your words.
When you’re finished, you should be able to imagine one stranger will read this (and only this) in order to understand who you are.
